The Brooklyn Flea: Revisited

Late this past Fall, right after moving to New York, we wandered down to the Dumbo location of the Brooklyn Flea.  We enjoyed the atmosphere and took home a few fun finds, but we both left feeling a tad bewildered:  there were throngs of people but what were they all doing?! There didn't seem to be any order to the madness.

Well, chalk it up to being more at home in Brooklyn or the fact that Fort Greene is simply a better place to host the flea, but this past Saturday's Brooklyn Flea was one of the highlights of our weekend.  Basically, everything clicked:  sunny weather, beautiful flowers, vendors with truly appealing items, and the typically amazing flea food.

Justin and I left with a water tower canvas print courtesy of Handsome Howard, cookies from one of our favorite local bakers, Whimsy and Spice, and a few gifts.
